WHY DOES MY
DIESEL NEED BETTER FUEL FILTRATION?
The 5-7 micron particles that pass thru your factory fuel filter
are abrasive at the 23-26 thousand PSI range. The end result is injector
failure due to high fuel return rates causing loss of
power and long crank times. One set of injectors could
buy up to 15 of these
filter kits!
The factory water separator is a gravity type, water settles to the
bottom of diesel. The problem being is the fuel pump is before the
separator so the water is mixed with the fuel! The 15%
effectiveness on the factory separator isn’t enough to
protect your investment from water contamination. Water
contamination causes rust, the end result being failed
injectors, cross over tubes, fuel rail and if its bad
enough, injection pump. Sounds expensive? Warranty will
not cover fuel
contamination!
So as you can see, this is an effective way
of putting an affordable insurance policy on your entire fuel system.
